The Busquitos play a very catchy mix of brilliantly played music and dazzling, funny entertainment that will put a smile on everyone’s face! The fun they have playing their music rubs off on their audiences as enormous amount of positive feedback they get every show proves.
The Busquitos play their merry jazzy tunes, sung with a Louis Armstrong like hoarse voice… And if the time is right they will mingle and play a serenade, organize a limbo- or line dance, or get the audience to sing along to one of their catchy jazzy tunes.

The Busquitos are:
Jelle van Tongeren (winner of "The Golden Satchmo!", Hot Club De Frank)-violin and Thomas Streutgers (winner of "The Big Boss Award", Big Jay McNeely, JZZZZZP, Rude Rich & The Highnotes, The Soulsnatchers)- saxophone .Two brilliant instrumentalists who have been showing their skills on stagesall around Europe and beyond. To round out this swinging quartet, they invited guitarist Michael Seraus and bassist/vocalist Ronald de Jong (nominated for Holland's bestblues-bass-player 2010, Big Jay McNeely, Shane Mac Gowan, Boyd Small) to join them.
The Busquitos play a large variety of music. Hot Club, Jazz, Pop, Rock & Roll, Classical Music, you’ll hear it all! Songs by Disney, Django Reinhardt, the Mills Brothers, Sonny Rollins and Irving Berlin, to name a few, as well as catchy tunes like Yackety Sax (Benny Hill) and The Nanny.
And The Busqutios play more and more very brilliant original Busquitos-songs!!
The Busquitos released 4 CD’s, 2019 will bring their first all original Album. They have proven their skills on the streets, parties, pubs and big stages at international jazz festivals. They performed in Holland, Belgium, Germany, The UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy and Turkey, as well as a two weeks tour with15 shows in South-Korea!
The Busquitos very often are asked to return the year after at big festivals. For instance at Cork-Jazz (IE)(3x), Bamberg-Jazz(D(3x)), Birmingham Jazz (UK) (3x), Maschseefest(D), Oerol(NL)(7x)
The Busquitos won several international prices. a.o. : They were voted (by both Jury and Public) ‘Best Dutch Streetband’ on Dutch National Radio and they won the “Prix du public lors de l’édition 2014”” at the Swing In The Wind Festival, Estavayer Le Lac, Zwitserland and ‘Best interacting Band’ Haizetera Festival (ES)
The Busquitos even have their own "Rollator Winterbeer 10%" brewed by the
famous "Jopen" Brewery from Haarlem.
In November/December the transform into ‚The X-Mas-Busquitos’and play their X-Mas show on famous stages as Köln and Hannover (D), Will (CH), Luxemburg (L), Dordrecht en Leuven (B)
